I've been wondering when Albuquerque was going to crack Outside Magazine's annual list of best places to live. No more wondering! Albuquerque's number six on their list in their most recent issue! Totally concur with the write up w/r/t the great outdoor opportunities in and around ABQ. And the outdoor scene is just one facet of what makes the city great.
Although summer is nearly on us, these are from the equally compelling opposite season. I couldn't help but reflect that a city with domes is a civilized place. I love the domes in Albuquerque. Here mists still banner the hillsides on rainy mornings. The old oriental paintings do not exagerate that effect. But there I imagine mornings are dry and cool. Calm or turbulent? I'm not sure. And I'm a weather junky, so this is an item of curiosity for me.
