The kiddo and I had so much fun at We Art the People in Robinson Park! We got there just in time to see the cool puppet parade. And we also got to meet Hairy McLairy and friends!! Since Hairy McLairy won the last "Where in Burque...", we decided to meet at the fair so I could deliver the prize. There are actually three Pomeranians in the McLairy family and were rescued by the most loving parents. We fell in love with those dogs and were warned that we could become Pommunists! So nice to meet the McLairys! Just wish I had taken some pictures.

We also ran into other DCFers - Jeff and Roxanna Sipe, Brookepal, RiRiSynCyr, cathyray, as well as other friends and fabulous artists. Bought some wonderful art and had an all around great time.

Thank you so much for posting this. We live just around the corner from all this fun, and I was uber excited about the parade. Then it turned out my wife and I both had to work today! Thanks for letting us share even though we were only there in spirit.

I wish that was my scooter! We saw it as we were leaving and had to take a picture. It's got astroturf all over it!

the parade was awesome, there was FANTASTIC art being sold by artists who (I think) charged waaay too little for their stunning creations, and the food was ROCKIN'! the hardest part about that event, for me, was that there were too many dogs to be petted! I love happy dogs, and there were many.

Have I mentioned lately how awesome Burque is for being so pet-friendly?
