//Hey Hettie, that video satirizes Genesis and I don't like how it presents God's word.//
Ah, I see. Well, Cisco, perhaps I could help put that video into the context of The Professor Brothers series and the rest of Brad Neely's work. Neely is one of those people who teeter on the fine line between genius and insanity. The guy is way far out there. With The Professor Brothers series, he takes common (and sometimes not so common) pieces of literature and presents them as they would be seen through the eyes of Professor Frank, someone who considers himself a suave academic, but who in reality is an awkward loser.

One of my favorite Professor Brothers sketches is "The T.A. Interview," which includes all sorts of allusions to Of Mice and Men, propaganda from the Cold War, and more obscure pop culture references than I think I can identify. The way he ties it all back together by the end is just brilliant:

You're welcome to be offended at "what seems to be a satirical, mean-spirited portrayal of a biblical story," especially since you did not understand the video in the greater context of Neely's work, but if you read back at your first post, you can see how your homophobic rant came out of nowhere. There was nothing in the video that promoted homosexuality - heck, nothing in the video even depicted homosexuality.

Benny, dude, Cisco's homophobic rant didn't come out of nowhere! The homosexuality in that video came from the hunky angels. They were, like, so GAY--and what about that foot washing? Hmmmm? Only gay men wash each other's feet. Obviously this video is just another part of the propganda the gays use to advance their agenda to turn all the rest of us GAY!!!! Aiiiyeeeee!

As for you, Cisco, I think calling people deviant sinners IS throwing stones at them. Pretty much. You'd be happier if you'd let go of that hate you harbor inside of you.

Benny, you are right, I worded that wrong... after all, I just got back from Egypt...

I should have said that the Bible boosting archelogists only care about pottery that proves their point and that only comes from halfway around the world... when there is lovely archeology happening locally that is also historically significant...

Dang, by the time I got back here, Cisco's post is gone... I love reading stories from Christians who don't know their own Holy Book... too bad there isnt a cartoon related to God getting the she-bears to tear 42 children to bits for teasing Elisha about being bald -- Look it up, it's 2 Kings 2.
WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN, GOD??? You baby killing bastard, you

"she-bears to tear 42 children to bits for teasing Elisha about being bald"

Now that's the kind of punishment for naughty children I can get behind!
