ABQ Pics: Hostel Takeover

Yes, there's broken windows upstairs but the Route 66 Hostel still has a bike leaning against the front sign and someone peacefully reading in the yard. A tradition of economical travel continues. Located on Central between downtown & old town.

Comment by aByX on May 18, 2012 at 2:58pm: Back in the early 90s when I was in college one of my buddies actually had to live in that hostel for a while when his girlfriend broke up with him and tossed him out on his ear. It actually looks like it's in better shape now!
