What's going on, Albuquerque?

Maybe ballot initiatives should have: a) strict time limits so they can get placed on the main election ballot (only), b) be vetted beforehand for constitutional issues and c), for recalls, that the person being "recalled" actually did something wrong requiring removal from office (which would probably negate a recall). Attempting to recall an elected official over one issue or vote is a form of intimidation - like in Colorado, targeting (Democratic) state senators for a minor gun rights issue became a means for upsetting the balance of power in that state (on the cheap).
I wonder if that new motorcycle cafe set up 88 motorcycle parking spaces, since you know that the motorcycle crowd would never walk or ride the bus to a restaurant (and motorcycles take up less space than cars, but use the same parking spaces - maybe the city could allow two bikes in one spot, and charge just one fee, just a thought). To be honest, I can't figure out why they would want to set up a shop in the middle of Nob Hill, with all the pedestrian traffic around - it's hard to test drive a bike in that general area. Bummer that rents are rising in that area....
Maybe the Red Wing shoe store owner will allow the motorcyclists to park in his lot at the west end of the building. Because a lot of motorcyclists wear Red Wing boots you know.
Here's what I want to know: why do wealthy Texans and Arizonans want to give money so that Susana will be re-elected? What, are they tired of having a cushion of sanity between their states?
