What's going on, Albuquerque?
Albq. doesn't have the population required for an IKEA--hell, I don't think the entire state has the population required for an IKEA. They prefer to establish themselves in much larger markets.
Why in the hell is Susana going to UT and CA to get campaign money? Those people don't live in NM... Grrrrrrrrrrrr.
IIRC, IKEA only opens in markets where there is a metro population of 2M or 2.5M.
Maybe IKEA could open a seconds store, just like the Rack - they'd sell all the furniture that people couldn't figure out how to put together, or returned damaged, or leftover from college apartment rentals. Good as new! (they better have cheap lunches....)
Er - car share/pooling - in this town? I could see renting someone with a pickup truck, for moving out of an apartment, maybe.
