Fracking.  In the very long term the earth will heal itself from the self-destructive, short-sighted tendencies of humans with dollar signs for eyes. The short-term outlook for the latter is not so good.

isn't New Mexico in a severe drought?  doesn't the fracking process require massive amounts of water?  why are more new houses being built if we are in a drought?  just curious...

Interesting that the owner of Revolver is blaming the death of the film industry in NM for her business closing in that article, but on their Facebook page ranted and raved about the Disco family's selling the building to another buyer was the primary reason they are closing.  What's the truth? 

As for fracking, yes, we will sell our future for short-term gains.  I am certainly glad I don't have children who will have to attempt to live on the screwed-up planet we've exploited for fuel.

I find it odd that the Revolver owner is upset...he never liked Albuquerque and trashed our population as not being as hip as San Francisco.
