What's going on, Albuquerque?
Gotta love the Governor's focus on that damned license bill. Like NM doesn't have any other problems we maybe need to face. The legislators are no winners, either. How can any of them be proud of being legislators in this state with the condition it's in--and for some of which they bear direct responsibility? A pox on all of them.
Pogs on all their houses!
I have to agree, OBTS; with so little time to get so many important things done, you would think she would reconsider dumping the same dead-on-arrival bill out year after year after year. And no, the legislators certainly don't help at all...other than the unrealistically truncated schedule, the worst part of a part-time, unpaid legislature is that legislators treat it like a part-time, unpaid job. The whole legislative system needs structural changes to bring it up to date with the 20th century...with all the problems we've got, governance should be more than a hobby.
