• CYFD in the news again: agency sued for negligence in federal court, but not over Omaree.
  • Sad anniversary: West Mesa murders still unsolved after 5 years.
  • Bueno recalls frozen green chile for possible bacteria issues. Better be safe and buy the extra-hot to kill any bugs.
  • LA Times checks in on Breaking Bad tourism: still making money, but does it trivialize Albuquerque's real-life drug problems?
  • Finally, don't miss your chance to see a REAL-LIFE fake Bigfoot!!! (It says this guy has killed *3* of them - amazing, but is he violating the Endangered Species Act?)

NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I'm exiled to freakin' San Antonio and Bueno is the only authentic chile I can get here aside from a couple weeks during chile season (thankfully Central Market has Hatch days and Chuy's has their Hatch Green Chile fest, too...)  I have a tub in the freezer that I was going to thaw to make green chile grilled cheese sammiches with this weekend.  Well this sucks.

Lahjik, fear not. Also, Bueno apparently plans to get their frozen tubs back on the shelves in two weeks.
