I did eat waffles at Marie Paule's.  I also ate her salads.  I really liked her food, but she closed, sadly.  She was helping out at La Crepe Michel in Old Town but I don't know if she is still there.

And you know?  I am tired of breakfast burritos.  We need more places making breakfast tacos here.

Just so long as this hideous abomination from Taco Bell doesn't become a trend.

That waffle taco has a striking resemblance to the cross section of a clogged coronary artery.

For me the "breakfast taco" will forever be tainted by its Texas origins. They can keep 'em as far as I'm concerned.

Last summer Marie Paule was serving up her amazing Belgian waffles on some Saturday mornings at Michael Thomas Coffee.  Maybe she'll do it again this year.  It's nice to see her getting some recognition. Belgian waffles were the highlight of my childhood state fair experiences.
