What's going on, Albuquerque?
If we lose that special education funding Skandera has to go. She's already done a huge disservice to New Mexico's kids but this really pushes it over the edge. Why are so many of Martinez's departments so hugely dysfunctional and inadequate? Future generations will look back on her term (or god forbid, terms) as lost years for any attempt to improve New Mexico's chances. Such a huge, infuriating shame.
I honestly don't know what to say about the architect complaining on facebook. While yes, the iron cage sitting there is pretty darn ugly, it's also outside of his right to have a say in what happens with a building he was paid to design. If he wants to donate his services and/or cash to pay for a better alternative then go for it, but till then, you cashed the check so your part is done.
That's Predock for you....
