What's going on, Albuquerque?
the undercover cops seem creepy and unnecessary at what was really an entirely peaceful protest. And if they were truly there to "keep the peace," why spend time filming people?
Amazing how APD cameras work for these protests, but not when APD shoots someone....
Oh yeah, thanks for splitting the last item - I was wondering if the tennis supply owner ran a front for crystal blue tennis balls or something...
shotsie, it was pretty early this morning when I was doing the Morning Fix and didn't catch that mistake until later in the morning!
And if they were truly there to "keep the peace," why spend time filming people?
Because they were hoping that someone would behave badly and they could use it in opposition propaganda. It's not really admirable.
And Benny, do not...repeat DO NOT look at the comments on the KRQE story about 4 cyclists being hit in June in or near Albq. It's the usual "cyclists deserve to be hit when they ride on the road" and/or "cyclists deserve to be hit because some of them are scofflaws." *sigh* I really lose what smidgeon of hope I ever had for society when I look at those comments.
