Would the pot petition have made it to the ballot if the rules where the same as prior to the anti choice vote debacle that Berry put us through last November? I think the requirements for getting stuff on the ballot got changed after that.
Your link on the city leader saying the city's economy needs to get off its bum is a link to the pot petition story. And yes, chalk up the pot petition failure to political shenanigans. Those Republicans can't win if they don't cheat.
