Many NM Security Companies don't have Worker's Compensation insurance but still receive licenses by the state! Thousands of employees have no insurance to protect themselves and they probably don't even know it.

The retired APD Sergeant indicted of Felony Forgery, Fileberto Baca, and his company ASA Security had no worker's compensation insurance. That didn't stop him from sending his guards out to risk their lives all the while having no insurance. In fact, he paid employees as independent contractors, in violation of state law, and failed to pay the employer's employment taxes for the benefit of the employees. Many of these guards had to use their own personal vehicles on their nightly patrols.

The state must step in and regulate the security industry!

Spruiell's murder sounds a lot like a drug deal gone bad.

TM, it's not that ABQ doesn't have these things, it's the many other cities are so much worse. So very very much worse. All we need is a way to convert human fat cells to biodiesel and our energy problems will be solved.
