Wow. That is probably the most convincing UFO sighting video I have ever seen. If it's a hoax, it's a damn good one.

why would someone video a light in the sky in alignment with the airport when it would be expected to be an aircraft in the first place??

"i can't zoom in anymore because of the...uhhh....air." wtf?

and then the weird lights happen right after they provide an unprovoked basis as to why they can't zoom in???? but then they do zoom in right after the lights start pulsing???

what's convincing about shaky footage of something unidentifiable?

That's definitely the governor - I could see his power beard.

They stole one off my myspace blog ( and put it up there a couple of years ago. Fun stuff.
(For the record, I neither believe nor not believe.) (Are the grammar mavens gonna get me on that?)

But yeah, which way was this camera faced? Cuz I'm leaning toward aircraft coming in for a landing. Though, I assume this was taken from a residence, and if you live within eye- or ear-shot of the airport, you know full well all the sights and sounds and wouldn't find airplane #5,000,000 of the day to be camera-worthy. Unless you were maybe on X or qualudes.

It looks like a jet landing to me. The flashing lights on the left and the right are the nav lights, and the other lights between it are the nav lights used in dark to see the ground among other things. Not a UFO.

Video uploader says this was taken from their apartment at I-40 / Tramway... Seems a bit odd that they had not seen those planes coming in yet IF they can see planes approaching from that angle. (The runway points more toward Louisian/I-40). Was it really windy last night maybe the planes were coming in "skewed"?

runway 8-26 centerline is only 1-1/2 miles from the intersection of I-40 & Tramway and runway 12-30 is aligned to the north-west, so an aircraft coming from the west (heading for either runway) could appear to be virtually motionless for 15 minutes.

i've seen landing lights come on 50 miles out...which would equate to roughly 10-15 minutes of flight time for a jet obeying the 250 knot speed limit under 10,000 feet.

from the video peeps vantage point, an aircraft heading for 12-30 from the west (perhaps destined for eclipse or cutter or 7-bar) would appear motionless for a long while and then quite suddenly turn to the left and descend...
