I thought Memorial Day would be the perfect day to remind folks that Albuquerque has a Veterans' Memorial and Museum
. The Visitors' Center and Museum are open Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 9am-3pm and admission is free. If the thought of dragging your BBQ bloated carcass off to a museum is too much to bear today, don't worry, McCain
is speaking there now and the crowds are reportedly tremendous. Maybe just bookmark it in your brain as something to check out sometime soon.
