as i was walking home from a nice brunch with friends at the Sunshine Cafe (on 12th and Mountain), I passed a house with a little white pig in the yard. a real live pig! accompaning this little pig was a chihuahua wearing a sweater. it made me laugh out loud and now i regret not taking a photo with my phone. i love albuquerque on days like this. where pigs are friends with yappy dogs in sweaters and where walking home on a sunday morning is a joyous experience. my friend drove by and offered me a ride but i happily declined, and am so glad i did because i wouldn't have seen the little white pig. i could tell he was a happy pig and it made me a happy girl.

i am also happy about the weather and the need to wear scarves. i love scarves and i have so many of them that i could probably wear a different one each day of the week. my favorite right now is a huge pumpkin colored one that i found in the elevator of the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. it's soft and cozy and reminds me of scooter rallies and vegas and friends that i only see at scooter events. i wish my scooter did not have a flat tire at my friends house. :(

but today is such a good day so who cares?!
it's not everyday that you get to see a little white pig in someones yard.
