DCF Craftacular 2008... woo-hoo!

this post is a little late, but a girl has gots to sleep, right?

Anyhoo, I had a fabulous time at the 1st ever Duke City Fix Craftacular show...
I hope you all did, too! It was such a pleasure to meet a lot of you DCF folk and
a special thanks to those who purchased some goodies!

There were so many fantastic artists, I was sooo inspired! There are so many
things I'd like to experiment with, and I got a lot of ideas from some artists directly.
Mostly it was great just being out there and talking with all of the artists, really.

The gals who put this together worked really hard but still maintained all their
awesomeness throughout the entire process... thanks again to Vashti, Lita & RiRi,
and of course, the folks over at VERB. **HIGH FIVES ALL AROUND!!!**

Here are a few photos from the show:

Andrea, thanks for posting these pictures! We'll be doing a post soon with a list of all the artists and links to their pages and info. It was great fun organizing the show and meeting everyone. And what talent we have in "Burque!!

Thanks for posting the photos Andrea. It was such a fun day (minus the Lita Friend getting sick and leaving part! we're so happy she is well again) It was a crazy lot of work, but so worth it. I too was inspired by the work of others - though what struck my time and again was that when it comes to sewing and jewelry, I'm a purchaser, not a creator!

I only got to be there to load in and load out; I'm Raine K.'s art show roadie. And when I ran lunch by for her I was going to bring the kids in for a bit, but the little one fell asleep in her car seat and I didn't want to risk her wrath.

But it looked like fun.

I gave one of the cards I got from Vashti to a friend and she was thrilled.
