about that APS board member griping about "better uses of money" --- didn't the board decide to practically give away Albuquerque High's fantastic collection of art to the Museum, art that was purchased by students for the school?

I think the "controversial" art piece is a valid and useful expenditure for Amy Biehl students.

Yesterday, commuting on my bicycle to and from work, I saw more bike traffic than I have ever seen in fours years of pedaling to work. I hope we don't start to see bike-path-rage.

I love the Cradle Project. The cradle that my mom's artists' salon donated and constructed in her memory is the Jackie's Apple Tree cradle. I miss her. . . Lou Gehrig's disease sucks.

It is so good to see the Cradle Project getting publicity! What a great project! I had planned on putting a cradle together but ran out of time. Maybe next time. I hope they raise lots of money and awareness!
