When I hear McCain talk about "winning" this war, I want to ask him: against whom? Who is the enemy there? There are certainly a lot of different bad guy groups, but according to civilian surveys, the US are the insurgents in Iraq. And some of the bad guys only showed up after we got there. And many of the Republicans are STILL connecting the war in Iraq to 9/11.

The war was certainly about oil (lotta good that did us), but it was also about Bush's ego and maybe wanting to recapture the glory of his dad's war in the Gulf?

If we are fighting for our freedom or to free others from tyranny, why are we not invading Saudi Arabia and China?
