Local Etsy Seller of the Week:PlasticPumpkin

This week's local Etsy seller is a good chick to know about, she teaches art classes locally and is working hard to open a cooperative art space here in Albuquerque. PlasticPumpkin (known to many as Ren Adams) is one of the artists involved in The Wooden Cow Gallery and Art Space soon to open at 7400 Montgomery Ave NE, Suite 20 (no known opening date, but The Cow is coming...) Amidst all of the madness of gallery-opening, PlasticPumpkin keeps up a fine looking Etsy store. Here is how she describes her work:

'I offer fun, philosophical, and intriguing artwork and crafts--for the discerning (and playful) collector. I work in a variety of mediums: Chinese brush painting, watercolor, oil pastel, pen & ink, mixed media assemblages, pencil, acrylic, etc. I find something special and engaging about each artistic method and I take every medium seriously.'

And here are a few of the pieces available in her store:

Twin Peaches Original Chinese Brush Painting

Bamboo in Black and White Paining

Red Bamboo Original Painting

Peacock Original Chinese Brush Painting
