As one who was ahead of the curve on identity theft (mine was stolen in the Orwellian year 1984)...what Chantal says in the ABQJOURNAL about web security is right on. When I registered my name as a domain name it was so no one else would. I like Chantal's be smart but not paranoid approach.

Privacy is a complicated issue, qué no?? I think Rick Nathanson did a good job exploring the subject with as few words as he's allowed in print. There's always more to say and deeper one can dig. Some folks have emailed me with differing and insightful opinions, so it sounds like Nathanson picked a relevant topic.

What's the deal with your identity theft story? How were you able to sort it out?
