$3/gallon didn't slow us down, but $4/gallon is "changing the way they live and work" -- and even getting cops told to shut off the engine, instead of sitting there and burning gas.
Amazing.

I'm so sorry for the families of the two snowboarders. As a (technically former, based on my participation in this decade) snowboarder, I always had a tiny voice in the back of my head that kept me just this side of paranoid about getting separated from the slopes. I just feel awful for these folks; but I'm glad that at least the long wait is over for them finally.

RIP Kyle and Michael and may your families find peace in their hearts. Wolfcreek is a beautiful place but I'm sure you are both in a better place and flying on your boards together. Godspeed brothers.

I'm sure these Rio Rancho home patrols are absolutely the most efficient use of gas/tax payer money in the world! Golly gee, I'll have to stop breaking in to people's houses explicitly from the front...and leaving those big "You've been robbed!" banners....
