if you're referring to the fire damage "stench", i'd assume so.
if you're referring to the neverending liquor/old-beer/smokey scent that all bars have, then probably not.

all of the bars that i like and have been in, not during business hours, have that smell.

and just so we're clear and i can end my dumpster diving days , what places do you

Oh jeez. Classist BS? Really? Is that all you got? A nice bar is where you and your friends have a good time. THAT'S what a nice bar is. If you mean a bar where punx & skins wouldn't be welcome, well, you don't want me at your "nice" bar with you, anyhow, so don't invite me and I won't go! I'll stay down here in the bogs with working class types over your botox bar crowd any day.

IN THE MEAN TIME, I'm sure everyone who is less genteel and uppity and doesn't feel the need to raise an eyebrow at the help is glad that the probably the best rock/punk venue in town is back open again.

(For medium sized shows, mind you. For small shows with you and your 40 closest friends, I lean heavily toward the Atomic. Just qualifying.)
