A local cupcake fetishist just alerted me to the ALL-IMPORTANT fact that a new cupcake shop opened in Albuquerque today. Seriously, I'm thinking of sneaking out at lunch today and I don't even really like cupcakes (I'm lying.)

Cake Fetish (Louisiana + Menaul) boasts of something like 27 flavors (Sounds like a serious fetish). Including such temptations as...

Sleepless in Albuquerque (Rich chocolate cake crowned with mocha french buttercream and a chocolate espresso bean)
Joy Ride (chocolate cake with mounds of coconut cream icing funished with toasted coconut and a chocolate almond)
Drama Queen (chocolate cake dressed in pink vanilla french buttercream and glittering jewels)
Mojito (vanilla cake with a hint of rum topped with a minty lime buttercream icing and a sprig of fresh mint)

On second thought, maybe I'll sneak out right now. (Don't tell anyone.)

UPDATE 11/2/07: Cake Fetish was sold in August to Ron and Caryn Koerner. Yep, there's still selling cupcakes.

There was a slight mix-up on our order but they corrected it like champs and went on their way. To have 4 dozen each of 8 different awesome flavors of mini-cupcakes with custom frosting to match our colors -- we just couldn't resist!
