OK. While we here at KNME get ready to cover the doings in Denver for the convention, it hit me. Where to eat in Denver?

It must have been heard because not 20 minutes later I'm listening to the Washington Post food editor in an interview on this very subject on POTUS ' 08 on XM. It was interesting to say the least.

I checked out her column on the same, and it sure sounds like there's some good food to be had there. She has me sold on The Market in LoDo, and Sushi Den...if I can get in. Apparently the owners are related to peeps in Japan, who ship the fish in daily and the joint is wildly popular.

But again, where does one eat decently in Denver for 'reasonable' money? It's PBS ya'll.

I am a funkatacious coffeehouse/hole in the wall kind of guy. Meaning, the kind of place bigwigs would never dream set foot in that also screams l-o-c-a-l.

Go to the tiny Ethiopian place on E. Colfax. I think it near Colfax and Elizabeth. It is called something like Healthy Ethiopian or just Ethiopian restaurant.
There are also many good Asian places along Federal in North Denver.
Oh and the Taquieria Patzcuaro on 32nd near Clay if it is still there was good too.

Enjoy!

Here's where speed-reading gets you in trouble... I swear I thought your last paragraph there started, "I'm a funktalicious kind of guy..."

You'd get no disagreement from me.
