Fishing at Tingley

I've been fisihing at Tingley since last Spring.
Mostly Saturday mornings from sunrise until 10 AM or more, depends on the Sun.
I have a 2 rod license. I use an old rod I'd bought in Washington, DC more than 15 years ago. I also have a smaller rod I recently purchased here in town at Smiley Boy. Both my reels are new. My setup is sinkers on both, with two hooks. Hotdog, shrimp, and salmon eggs are the normal bait. This weekend I'll try some nasty blood dough I bought at Charlie's yesterday.

Comment by SzuperGipsy on August 29, 2008 at 7:39am: I think fishing is nice. Relaxed, and the lakes are good. Wished that the city cleans up a little better. But I regularly see the rangers walking around and picking up loose lines, soda bottles, etc. Its a good place. Last weekend I saw a monster carp, or something like that. It looked like a 20-30 pound fish, a small torpedo. There is some good trout,bass, and catfish in there. People coming down to around the lakes are friendly, relaxed, and there to chill.
