I do not think there is any big news out of APS today. I think it more relates to the news they got yesterday that APS can not have its own police force. But you know, I could be wrong.

In our meeting today we learned that The Trib will publish through some time in January. It's the first hint of a timeline we've received since the August announcement we would sell or close. Seems negotiation for our sale continues.

We also learned some of the details of our severance packages, which we can opt to take before the paper closes/sells.

Most folks plan to leave Dec. 31, which leaves the paper operating with a VERY small staff. This means we'll need you all to call in tips, stories and photo opportunities!
