Damn, damn, damn,,,,
2 years ago, I was living in Paris for work, but came back here twice; didnt have internet at the house, so I went to work every day at the Blue Dragon... green eggs and ham calzone, the yummy marinara... I bought as much food ande coffee as I could manage... the staff was so sweet to me and the wifi was strong and far more consistant than any flying stars or satellites or other places....

We won a 2.5 million dollar contract in France out of it... I should have spent more in the Dragon....

The NM Museum of Natural History and Science is open on Mondays, except non- holiday Mondays in January and September. The ABQ Museum is closed on Mondays. Explora is open on Mondays. The National Atomic Museum is open daily except New Years Day, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. And the National Hispanic Cultural Center is closed on Mondays.

As a 10-year-old boy I had a beautiful picture of the Super Chief in all of its red and yellow glory rolling through the southwestern landscape (cut from a gas station calendar). That train poster, a photo of a DC-3 boarding passengers at the ABQ Sunport, and O. Winston Link's photo "Hot Shot Eastbound" exuded the wonder of modern design in the '50s. Wonder if I can find a poster of that Super Chief today....

Does anybody else think the methodical targeting of abortion clinics is BIG BAD SCARY NEWS?
The fires and vandalism of these clinics is terrifying-especially when you consider that these fires and arson are being caused by firebombs.
A pattern has emerged--and it's not looking pretty...

What explains the violence against clinics? Uh...fanatical religious terrorists rarely take a very long breather. I would suggest anyone who wants to learn more should go by the abortion clinic on Encino and talk to the people demonstrating out there and ask them if they support this kind of violence and why?

Sadly, this type of terrorism gets hardly any notice and certainly isn't on this current administration's big bad scary list. They want the soccer moms to be scared of Muslims and brown people. The soccer moms should be much more frightened of people who want to take away their right to make decisions about their own bodies...

To be honest I expect that one of the major reasons for the uptick in abortion clinic violence is because of the upcoming election cycle. The anti-abortion yahoos and their agitators are trying to make abortion a major issue again just in time for 08.

Religious zealots burning and vandalizing abortion clinics on a holy day...

Traditionally - if that is the right word to use - violence and vandalism against abortion clinics are ususally headed by religious zealots. People have a strange way of showing dedication to their god, whether they are Christian, Muslim, or whatever. Honestly, I am more afraid of coming in contact with some guy high on meth or cooking it in my neighborhood than a guy with a bomb strapped to his chest.

Maybe my assumption of the two men who vandalized the clinic was unfair. I really don't care what religion or race they are. The fact that they destroyed property, over a personal matter, is a crime. Remember, the reproductive rights of all women in this country is law.
