I'll be traveling North today so I thought I'd check the NM Road Conditions map online or you can also call 1-800-432-4269.

Thanks for posting this!

My old car can barely make it up La Bajada hill in dry conditions, let alone slick and snowy. Good to check before heading out.

Thanks ayax, My son attends Luna Community College where he plays on the baseball team too. I'm glad he is surviving the first year at a small school but he wants to transfer to NM State next year.

I used this last winter when I was driving back to NM and it was great. I found the Internet map much easier to use than the phone line. Cheap motels, truck stops, even some rest areas in Texas have WiFi which allowed me to keep on top of the storm conditions and pick a safe route.

It was acurate too, just a little slush along the road side in Santa Fe and the Glorieta Pass. He's back at school and I'm home, all is good.
