About the election article...

Everybody in the media is speculating about the voter role and what could have possibly flawed it after the Secretary of State released it... what about before it was released? Once again, why is the voter role controlled by a private entity and not our government? ES&S is a partisan company started by partisan republicans... why is Mary Herrera placing the integrity of our voting process in the hands of these people... is it not her responsibility?

I believe one of Herrera's campaign promises was to get privatization out of our elections... she needs to be held accountable.

Apparently Domenici just mimics the fear tactics used by those companies. Its standard procedure for the companies to say that... it should be standard procedure for our representatives to respond with a balance that represents the people not just echo the company's interests.

The democrats deserve their blame, but the Secretary of State did not help them run it... but she may have been responsible for a lot of the mishaps.

Its not the poll workers or even the top tier of the democratic party that is to blame if they were given a faulty voter role.

Well, the secretary of state is a non-partisan position who's first priority is to ensure the validity of elections in NM. Granted the Dems ran the caucus on their own... she is still very responsible for providing an accurate voter role... that is indeed why we pay her.

I'd wager that the Republican voter role is very accurate, ES&S is a republican company with a history of incompetence and corruption. I think grandpa McCain is gonna need all the dirty tricks he can get to help his chances.
