When I first read the post, I thought Las Lunas decided not to set up some cameras of their own... and then was totally pissed to find out that they are actually claiming immunity from CABQ tickets! Sure, because they are a government intity, they should not be punished for putting lives at risk. What?!?

CNM. Get over it Gye. It's not like TVI was such a groundbreaking name. I'm already used to CNM. I think of it like the NFL and the CFL - I'm gonna get blasted for this ;-) - If you're not quite good enough for the NFL, you play in the CFL. If you do well in the CFL, you've up to the NFL... (Oh, why did I say that?!?)

Archibot, your CFL/NFL analogy is specious, at best. (Go ahead, look it up) Plus, if you're not quite good enough for the NFL, you play on a practice squad, or NFL Europe, or Arena Football, or... maybe also the CFL, I guess, which is just like the NFL, except the rules are totally different and it's colder. If you do well enough in the CFL, you don't realIy get to go to the NFL, you just might help your team win the Grey Cup, that's all. The CFL is not the Minor Leagues of the NFL. So maybe next time you should go with a baseball simile. I don't really get what you were getting at, that if T-VI does well enough, it becomes CNM???? Anyway, I love you, man, let's start a "Group"-- I'm thinking about calling it "Fringecresters". Whaddya think?

why was the red light camera funds story being reported by a station in lubbock and not abq.? and do we know what, exactly, the red light profits have been diverted to or are they just sitting in the general fund? is anyone honestly surprised this program now has the gathering aroma of "scandal"?

my sister got a ride to burning man with a guy who works for one of the private companies that owns the cameras and processes the violations info. to send to cities. he told her there's a "no-ticket" list within his complany. if you're an employee or relative/close friend and your name is on the list, the info. (photo, video, license plate, etc.) about your violation is simply not passed on to the city where you broke the law. it's like it never happened.

Yeah Masshole, you're right, I have not idea what I'm talking about when it comes to football minor leagues. (there's the CFL, the USFL (when we were kids) and a year or two ago there was the XFL (started by the fake wrestling promotors). Don't you remember the player named He Hate Me that did well in the XFL and landed a starting gig on some NFL team.... ahh what ever happened to He Hate Me? I think I shoulda waited for my morning 44 ouncer. Fringecresters, I'm in!

CNM just doesn't whiz through the teeth like TVI. It's more a tripping off the lips... Cold, frostbitten, dry, chapped, bleeding lips...
