I was a little busy today. I shoveled a lot dirt adding some topsoil to my yard here in Houston. I am a little tired, want to finish the book I am reading and I need to rest for tomorrow's golf. It is very windy these days here in Houston and I am looking forward to playing golf tomorrow. I love to play in the wind.
I just wanted to explain my picture. I recently discovered that my high school graduating class (Albuquerque High School) is planning a re-union this year. I have been communicating with a couple of former AHS students that are coordinating the re-union. I wanted to send them a picture of myself because they don't remember me. That's not surprising because I didn't distinguish myself in high school. I gave few people any positive reason to remember me. Anyway, I did not have a picture of myself from high school and the best I can do at the moment is a picture I took in 1978. So I posted that one and when I discovered Duke City Fix, I also used that picture. But obviously I want to use a picture of myself today and I did not have one handy which is silly of me. I have a digital camera sitting on my desk. I rationalized my laziness with the excuse that I would have to transfer the picture to the computer and the camera has about 100 pictures on it. I don't know why I was so lazy. Well, today as I sat at the computer I realized that I also have a web cam on this computer. If I used the web cam, I wouldn't have to hook up my camera to the computer. So I just took a picture of myself at my desk and uploaded it to Duke City Post. So now you know the story of how my picture came to be changed.
If this is boring, please let me know and I will stop. Remind me to tell you about Leroy Pacheco. He became a policeman in Albuquerque and I believe that he was killed on duty.
