Yerba Mansa grows in the wild here but it wouldn't take much for it to be eliminated by overharvesting if its locations were widely known.

The Spaceport project seems more like an amusement park for the wealthy. 15 minutes in space for $200,000 and the Rocket Racing League! I'm sure it would be cool to watch all the rockets wizzing around and burning mega amounts of fossil fuels but I had thought that the original plan was for more sophisticated rocket research.

Jim: I was listening to the radio on the way to work this morning and they had a comment by a guy who lives in Sierra County paraphrased:

"If they're going to build a spaceport that big corporations (Virgin) are going to profit off of, those big corporations should be the ones paying for it."
