It's midnight. Can I start drinking my Thanksgiving wine yet?

A few weeks ago, during an AIBA Gala, there was a wine tasting from Casa Rondeña Winery that featured a lovely little white called "Serenade". I fell in love. Hard. Impressive considering that the last time I purchased wine, was something called, "Boone's Farm" as a joke gift for a friend of mine. On the rare occasion that I do drink, I go all out and usually suck down on something called Patron, Tequilla. It's expensive and usually takes about six shots for me to become really funny. Now I can get drunk with style and class on this Thanksgiving. I spent an hour and $60 at the winery "tasting room" today just to get a little bit of this magical elixir.

It's not just the cranberry that's going to be sauced this year.

Watch out for the bottle on the right. It will mess you up something awful.

We really liked the Serenade at AIBA too, and picked up a bottle at Jubilation. It safer to stay away from the tasting rooms, though I just happened to catch the Beaujolais (sp?) release tasting and yes, bought some of that ;^)

Looks like we will have to try this Serenade. Thanks for the tip!
