Balloon accident - hmm, let's see - the pilot's dead now, let's blame the pilot for being blown off course by the excess wind (wouldn't want to point fingers at whoever allows balloons to launch when the wind is too strong)....

Also noticed that the story about the Air Force making noise over Mesa del Sol came from an El PASO newspaper. I wouldn't want to be a real estate agent showing a house when the big BOOM occurs....

(I also personally feel they should move all the outdoor-type events like the State Fair, horse racing, auto racing, concerts, arenas, and businesses, light industry, etc... to this area, and skip the housing (and associated TIDD and, hey, what's this radioactive well doing in my backyard mess)

That's the only Scooby Doo episode that actually came close to scaring me when I was a kid.

I never did like the Martini Grill. Never could figure out why... And who knows what other shady crap they were up to... Of course, everybody knows you don't cross the liquor distributors cartel in this state, I'm guessing that might have been their only real mistake...

yeah i hate even driving across oklahoma. unfortunately my mother loves it there and i own a house there so i am there a few times a year. what anyone from southern california would find positive about that stinkhole is beyond me. oh yeah she's a jesus freak and if youre a jesus freak or a complete redneck then tulsa, oklahoma is the place for you. i wouldnt mind watching the entire state burn however. god bothering ass clowns. bah.

and yes, oklahoma cops harassed me all the f***in time when i lived there. i also once nearly got into a full on fist fight at a reggae fest (served me right for pretending to want to listen to reggae) for "why you wearin a long sleeve shirt?". i wish i were making this up.

I don't like paying martini grill prices for a drink, but if they go under, I might just miss those bleu cheese fries that were on the menu. I've only had them a few times and not recently, but just thinking about them now is making my mouth water......mmm, bleu cheese fries (cue homer simpson sound effect).

I'm with hettie- the best thing about the martini grill wasn't the martinis, it was the food. Burgers and criss-cut chile cheese fries were what brought me back- though now I'm wondering what hijinks ensued between the buns.
