Why would anyone think that only union tradespeople have good taste and design?  That is just ridiculous

The problem with the faux adobe building and the faux vigas is the asphalt, concrete and faux rock with broken weed guard landscaping that surrounds it. The contrast caught by the photographer is compelling.

The original church is from the 30s I think, maybe built with a low amount of funds. My guess is the parking lot, so-called 'landscaping' and other oddities came later. It would be nice to see a pic of it from the old days...D
