A monk sweeps the front steps of the Buddhist Temple, located at Louisiana & Zuni in the International District.
have you gone to visit? i've been tempted several times but haven't yet. BTW, Albuquerque has many Buddhist temples: Wat Buddhamongkolnimit, another Thai/Lao wat, and a Vietnamese one in the SE Heights, the Zen Center by UNM, and two or three Tibetan-tradition places scattered around town.
Comment by Dee Cohen on May 6, 2012 at 3:25pm Thank you Phil. Yes, this one is the Wat Buddhamongkolnimit temple. I went to their celebration last month but I only got to peek into the temple. Very friendly group. Good food too.
Oh, the Songkran festival...meant to go to that, but was out of town.
