What's going on, Albuquerque?

Touching photo. Having said that, can I rant a little: $250,000 cost for the U.S. Forest Service, Department of Agriculture, to kill it in Colorado and haul it to the White House, managed by the U.S. Park Service, Dept. of the Interior, to set it up and then haul it to the dump, Not much in a day of trillion dollar deficits, but I'll bet the Sandy victims would have appreciated a surprise check for that amount. It's the little costs that add up, just as pennies often make the difference in a family's budget.
I agree. There is a ton of waste. Don't get me started on Medicare fraud: everyone could be healthy if we had a handle on it. Yet maybe there are certain symbolic things that rate a special pass -perhaps helping to pull the country's morale up. A thought. D
You're right, of course. It was a Scrooge moment.
