Way up Rio Grande Blvd, where the road narrows and the ranches spread out, you can find this peaceful scene. There's a small pet grave on the left.

I love all the acequias in the Valley.  This is such a nice shot with that cottonwood.  Thanks for sharing.

When you get tired of the north valley, there are ops as far as Sevilleta National Wildlife Refuge.
