What's going on, Albuquerque?
The happy colors of Fiestaware appear in many of ABQ's restaurants. This collection was found in the Classic Century Square in Nob Hill.
Holy crap I need to go there to add to my collection!!
When I dine out, I ask the waitress if she'd mind if I put my plate in my purse. There are so many great colors out there. Perfectly ABQ...
When I remodeled my kitchen, the first thing I did was buy new dishes - Fiestaware. I am such a dork...I love opening up my cabinet and seeing all the colors I've picked. It's a virtual rainbow! ;)
Sounds great. Besides the colors, the shape and heft of the pieces are so nice...
Lita! We have fiestaware too--it makes washing and putting away dishes much more exciting. I would say eating too, but I really love eating, so not much more can add to that. I've actually thought about taking photos of my dishwasher, but it sounds silly. Wonderful photo, Dee!
Thanks Krista. Yes, photograph your dishwasher- clean of course! D
Dee -- I was just there on a "second-hand Saturday" shopping tour! I was glad to see the Fiestaware booth again after so many years -- but sad that it appeared Century Square's reign as the center of east Central's used/antique vibe was slipping away. Ah, it moves on. I bet I saw you and didn't know it. This is the second time we've almost been in the same place at the same time -- Sickler's Farm stand in the fall was the first time. You've captured it. Thank you.
Thanks Zuzu! I wasn't there on the tour but I stop in at times. We seem to frequent the same classy joints- We're sure to meet up sometime! D
