I pass this mural every day and never tire of it. I think it's astoundingly beautiful and I appreciate that they have continued to add to it.

Yes, it's very nice and very nice that the kids are part of the process. I'm still getting used to things in ABQ (even after being here over 2 years). In CA, if I had asked to photograph students, they would have gotten offended or told me it was illegal or needed everyone to sign waivers. In ABQ, they just shrug and say 'Sure. OK.' That's the best part. D

Dee, thanks for taking and posting the pic of the Art Summer Institute apprentices! We manage this program each summer and are holding the dedication soon, Friday August 24th @ 5:30 pm. Come by to meet all the great folks involved (City of Albuquerque Public Art, Youth Conservation Corps, the students, lead artists, and myriad other community members)!
