Thanks. I was surprised that the darkness of the head and the lightness of the rear actually showed up in the reflection. Digital cameras are great.
This species, Branta canadensis is particularly photogenic. And I am impressed by the stillness of the water and the absence of ripples. It would be fun to view it upside down.
