Whenever I see a Thợ rừng (that's lumberjack in Vietnamese), I get hungry for Pho. This guy welcomes customers into the May Cafe on Louisiana & Central.

Yup - it's from a hardware store that predated the cafe. But I love that it stayed around long enough to become the May Cafe's symbol...
