Albuquerque has been recognized by Kiplinger in its Best Cities 2009 edition.

We're No. 2, right after Huntsville, Alabama.

Something seems wrong with their site. I tried to post the following but not sure if it was accepted:

It's nice to see an educated article from someone that appreciates what ABQ has to offer. But shhhhhh, don't tell so many people. ;-) As an architect in Albuquerque, it is fun to work with the traditional architectural styles and mix in ABQ's funky side too.

I was really excited when I first heard this yesterday. Then I saw which city came in third; Washington DC. That made me wonder how valid their selection process was.
