Albuquerque, NM-Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity has been awarded $25,000 by Wells Fargo toward the "Circle of Friends Build". Thanks to the great volunteers and supporters in our community, this home was able to break ground August 6th, 2011 and is scheduled for completion October 29th 2011.

The Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity Women Build sponsored by a $37,500 grant from Lowe's will break ground September 17th, 2011. Through Women Build, women are able to participate in construction clinics and on-site construction, as well as actively advocate for policy changes that enable more families to escape substandard housing.

State Farm recently awarded Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity a $20,000 grant toward building decent, affordable homes. The GAHH has worked as an affiliate for 25 years to end poverty housing and has currently build #157 homes.

Many thanks to the supporters of our program and the community to put an end to poverty housing.
