I went out around the neighborhood looking for Halloween displays, but I didn't find much. There were lots of little ghosts and pumpkins and one pet cemetery. A decent helping of webs and a handful of scarecrows. Seems like things are a little subdued this year. I suspect everyone is preoccupied with the election.

We're tentatively planning to hand out candy for awhile and then mosey on to Nob Hill, the Press Club and downtown to Burt's Tiki Lounge for the Grave of Nobody's Darling CD release party.

Have you come across any outstanding displays where you live? Got plans for later?

Adorable. Thanks for posting photos.

I'm probably joining the Halloween Bike Ride this year. Honk if you see us headed down Central toward Old Town!

There is a very dool display near my house. The two intriguing items are a six foot tall mummy that is activated by a very nervous motion sensor. When he/she comes to life, the eyes glow red and the head turns. The other is a half buried skeleton that might be triggered by the same sensor. This boney fellow tries to claw his way out of the ground when triggered. What has been especially fun is that I set both of these off every morning this week as I rode by on my bike. The first time was slightly creepy.

Martineztown was awesome. James and Georgia had a cool display complete with dry ice (heh) at 902 Edith.
