Comment by Johnny_Mango on February 7, 2013 at 9:33pm My favorite Journal headline read came during the Clinton presidency, "Sex Offenders to Get Life Under Bill."
Comment by AlbuquirkyPhotos on February 7, 2013 at 9:44pm Another memorable, and intentional, Journal headline was in huge letters on the front page when the political dynasty of Manny Aragon, Speaker of the House and political heavyweight, came to an end. Headline: "Era Gone".
While the headline is amusing, the first sentence is priceless. Killer flora!
Comment by Izquierdo on February 8, 2013 at 4:38pm You gotta love both Johnny and Dan's observations. I almost missed the play on Eragon's name, because I thought the pun was in the word "era," which clumsily works, too, "era" being the past tense, second person singular of the English verb "to be," or "he was" outta there. Or something akin to that..
Comment by Johnny_Mango on February 8, 2013 at 7:36pm There is a headline attributed to the Journal, but I can't verify it: "NASA To Probe Uranus." Anybody know?
