It's been a while since I've been on DCF. Ironically when I first moved to ABQ I was talked into creating my profile here and was pretty hesitant to do it. Well here I am almost 3 years later in the Duke City. The person new in my life who talked me into it is now one of my closest and very best friends. I have never been more grateful to have met her. She is truly one of my very best friends now and I met her right here in the Duke City. Along with that I have met many new people and have made many new friends here. I have even found old friends from my past that I have reconnected with and discovered they are here in ABQ too. I've been introduced to and have discovered on my own the many things this city has to offer. I've been able to make ABQ my home for now but at the same time this place shows me how much I can cherish my original home but yet still enjoy the "new" cultures here that have kept me here so far.
It's time for me to start checking things out and use DCF again to keep up sometimes. There is one more thing, I just had to say... I became acquainted with a very cool kat here on DCF and since I hadn't logged on in so long, I hadn't spoken to him in a very long time. It may have even been as long as almost a year I think. Well he found me elsewhere and now we are chattin' much more and enjoying the conversations. We are in hopes of becoming friends for the sake of making another new friend in each other's life. Who would've thought that I wouldn't be forgotten after so long? I am very happy that we didn't forget. What can I say? ABQ is bringing some very cool new friends to me. I'd have to say ABQ is starting to grow on me now. I think I'll log in more often just to see what is going on in this crazy cool town. =)
Life is short. Take what you are given, enjoy what you can, and live life making friends!
