Looks like rain, feels like rain, but where is the rain? Need to get out there and water my beautiful flowers!

Remembering when my grandmother who lived in the home I live in today always had a little lawn and nice flowers and actually some bushes she brought home from Bakersfield, CA! Her oldest son, my late uncle lived there with his family for years! She brought home the pomegranate bush that continues to grow beautifully in the front yard it must be over 50 years old! Just a bit older then me! tee hee It has taken quite a while for me to get the hang of what grows here and what refuses to grow no matter what care I put into the particular plant!

What is most disturbing is all the dirt I continue to see in front yards, when you can plant a bulb and actually have a neighbor, friend or the wonderful Garden Center on Lomas give you plants/bulbs and teach you how to care for them! One thing I must add is I see more and more flowers since I returned to Barelas 19 years ago! YIPPPEEE!!
